Ganzeg Machine- and Steel structure Manufacturer Ltd. was established after the privatization of Ganzeg West Hungary Machine and Steel Structure Manufacturer Plc. on the 1st of July in 1997.

The company is the member of Ganz Engine Factory Holding Plc.. Until 1993 its predecessor was the Ganz Train- and Machine Manufacturer Company, which developed from the Zalaegerszeg Factory Unit of Ganz-MÁVAG Locomotive-, Wagon-, and Engine Factory.

At the beginning in 1964 mostly conveyor belts were produced, known from the predecessor company, later on the cutting of different motor-, engine-, locomotive-, wagon components has taken place gradually.

The cooling manufacturing, and then the crane and lift-engine manufacturing started. At that time the company belonged to Ganz-MÁVAG, so its traditions, manufacture-culture, and its profile of products fits in the successor of the parent company with a great past. Since then the production profile has changed.

The proportion of the previously manufactured products decreased, today primarily mounting crane supports, supporting casing, valve mounting for excavators, safety and security system, part unit of material conveyor equipment, used in wood industry, made of high-strength steel (S960QL; S690QL, etc.) are transported to German and Belgian firms.

In the interest of lasting exploiting of the available capacity, the company aspires to build up long-range market relations.

On the basis of TÜV CERTprocess the company verified, that on the work fields of cutted and welded machine and steel structure manufacturing quality control system according to MSZ EN ISO 9001 has been introduced, which is applied since then continuously.

Ganzeg Ltd. also has the certificate of DIN EN ISO 3834-2, DIN EN 10902-2 EXC3, DIN EN 15085-2 CL1).

Basic materials: S235, S355, S690QL, S700MC, S960QL. Welding process according to DIN EN ISO 4063: 111, 135 (tMAG), 135 (vMAG), 783.

The welders are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9606-1 and/or DIN EN ISO 14732.
